ZEG is a small Australian studio. We build products that are genuinely free — no advertising, no data brokering, no dark patterns. This Privacy Policy reflects that commitment. We collect only what we need, protect it carefully, and never sell it.
The short version: we collect minimal data, we don't sell it, we don't use it for advertising, and you can delete it anytime. The details follow below.
Who We Are
ZEG Pty Ltd is an Australian company registered in New South Wales. We are the data controller for personal information collected through our websites and products, including StyleME and Evolve.
This policy applies to all ZEG-operated domains: zeg.com.au, style.zeg.com.au, evolve.zeg.com.au, and any other domains we operate.

The personal information we collect depends on how you interact with our services.

We do not collect payment information (our products are free), government identifiers, or sensitive categories of personal information without explicit consent.

We use the personal information we collect to:

Sharing Data

- Service providers: trusted infrastructure providers (hosting, authentication, email delivery) who process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements
- AI model providers: prompts and anonymised inputs may be processed by third-party AI model APIs to generate responses; we do not send personally identifiable information unnecessarily

- Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with advance notice to affected users
We never sell your data to advertisers, data brokers, or any third party. Our business model does not depend on monetising user information.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. We also retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes and enforcing our agreements.
When you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or where data has been anonymised and aggregated (in which case it cannot be linked back to you).
Security

Children
Our services are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@zeg.com.au and we will take steps to delete that information.
International Transfers
ZEG is based in Australia. If you access our services from outside Australia, your information may be transferred to and processed in Australia or other countries where our service providers operate, including the United States and the European Economic Area.
When we transfer personal information internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act and applicable cross-border data transfer requirements.
