We're minimalist about data. Here's exactly what we store:

From Waitlist Signups:

• Your email address
• Which product you expressed interest in (e.g., "zeg-mail")
• Timestamp of signup
• Basic browser info (to prevent spam)

From App Usage (EVOLVE AI):

• Nothing personal. EVOLVE AI runs entirely on your computer.
• We don't see your files, folders, or browsing history.
• Optional: Anonymous usage patterns (like "user moved PDF to Documents") to improve our AI—never filenames or content.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To email you about products you signed up for (and only those products)
• To count how many people are interested in our tools (honest stats)
• To improve our software based on aggregate, anonymous patterns

We do not:

• Sell your data to anyone
• Use your data for advertising
• _SHARE_ your email with third parties (except our email service, SendGrid/EmailJS, to deliver messages)

4. Where Your Data Lives

We use Firebase (Google Cloud) to store waitlist data. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Servers are primarily located in the United States. By using our service, you consent to this transfer.

For Australian users: We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access whatever data we have on you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your data entirely (just email us)
• Unsubscribe from emails anytime (link in every email)

6. Cookies & Tracking

Our website doesn't use tracking cookies for advertising. We use:

• Essential cookies: For theme preference (dark/light mode) and Firebase authentication tokens
• Analytics: Basic visitor counts (Google Analytics, anonymized)

7. Data Retention

We keep your email on our waitlist until you ask us to delete it, or until 2 years of inactivity (whichever comes first). Then we automatically purge it.

8. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13, and parents or guardians can contact us at any time to request access to or deletion of their child’s information if they suspect their children signed up.

9. Changes to This Policy

When we update this policy, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top and notify active users via email if the changes are significant.
