1. Definitions

"Services" means our websites (zeg.com.au and subdomains), software applications (EVOLVE AI, ZEG Mail, ZEG Focus), and any related services.

"You" means the person or entity using our Services.

2. Use of Our Services

You must be at least 13 years old to use ZEG Services. If you're under 18, you need parental consent.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use our software for personal or business use, subject to these terms.

You agree NOT to:

• Reverse engineer our software or attempt to extract source code
• Use our Services to break any laws (Australian or your local jurisdiction)
• Upload malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Try to break, overwhelm, or test the vulnerability of our systems
• Resell, redistribute, or lease our software without written permission
• Use automated systems (bots) to scrape our website or spam signup forms

3. Accounts & Security

Some features may require creating an account. You're responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of unauthorized use

4. Intellectual Property

ZEG retains all rights to our software, logos, code, and content. You can't use our trademarks (ZEG, EVOLVE AI) without permission.

Open Source: Portions of our software may be open-sourced under GPL/MIT licenses. Specific licensing terms are included in the relevant repositories.

Your Data: You retain ownership of your files and data. We don't claim any ownership over your content simply because you used our tools to organize it.

5. Beta Software Disclaimer

Some of our products (marked "Beta" or "Coming Soon") are experimental. They might:

• Have bugs, crashes, or unexpected behaviors
• Delete data (though we try very hard to prevent this)
• Change dramatically or be discontinued

6. Termination

We can suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. You can stop using our Services anytime.

If you delete your account:

• We delete your personal data within 30 days (except where legally required to keep it)
• Anonymous usage analytics may be retained (can't be traced back to you)

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Our Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee they'll be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law:

• We're not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us (which is often $0, since we're free)
• We can't be held responsible for data loss—please maintain backups

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ZEG and its team members from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Services or violation of these terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia (or your State/Territory if specified). Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Australia.

If you're using ZEG from outside Australia, you're responsible for compliance with local laws.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms as our business evolves. We'll notify users of significant changes via:

• Email (if we have your address)
• Announcement on our website
• In-app notifications for software users

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Severability

If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that part will be struck out and the rest remains in effect.
